Field Experience

Being in a kindergarten class for my first field placement was very exciting! The children were so compassionate and excited to learn. I was able to spend 8 afternoons getting to know the student's and to get a feel as to what being a teacher is like. Starting off in a kindergarten class was wonderful because both the student's and I are starting new journey's with school. Although the children are very young and are only learning basic educational skills, I still had a wonderful experience and am even more excited to continue my education to become a teacher!
